Selenium is becoming one of the most widely used automation tools in the world. Unfortunately since I have been using it there has been a distinct lack of tutorials available on the internet. This is the reason why I have decided to create them for everyone to use.
So lets start with the basics. A simple record and replay training exercise. For this you will need to make sure that you have Selenium IDE installed.
The first tutorial available is the Record and Replay tutorial. Once you have mastered this tutorial move on to either the JavaScript tutorial or the XPath Tutorial or the Regular Expression Tutorial. If you are struggling to test AJAX applications the waitFor Command Tutorial will help your tests wait for the AJAX on the page to stop loading. Now and then you get situation that the default Selenium commands just can't handle what you want. Its times like this you will need to creat your own own User Extension. Follow the User Extension Tutorial to see how to create one.
At the bottom of this page there is a regular expression that we came across at work. Try guess what it is used for? The answer can be found at the end of the Regular Expression Tutorial
